2022 Contest theme: “The World of Down Under”

Australia being our guest of honor for the 2022 Pour l’Amour du Fil show, next year’s theme will be: “The World of Down Under”

a play on the nickname given to Australia. But please, let your imagination run wild…the bottom of the oceans with their splendid carol reefs, is also an antire world “down under”! There are unlimited worlds to explore and create! We can’t wait to discover what you are all going to make, but we have no doubt it is going to be fabulous!

3D, traditional, contemporary… Every single type of textile art can be used to create your very own project, which you may enter in one of the two following catagories:

  • “Flat“ textile works: Quilts, Embroideries, etc…
  • “Voluminous“ textile works: boxes, objects, clothes or any other kind of 3D textile creation.

This contest is open to EVERY fabric art (quilting, knitting, sewing, embroidery, lace, crochet, etc.).

The deadline to send your entry form is the 1st of March 2022 along with the first pictures of your project. Please send them by email or by regular mail.

The Contest rules can be downloaded below. We invite you to carefully study all the selection criteria to ensure that your work is selected and to respect the registration deadlines!
